Grief Support Group

This coming Advent and Christmas season, Marianne Panke will be leading support groups sponsored by St. John Neumann, St. Bartholomew’s and Annunciation Parishes. These eight-week groups will begin mid-November 2024. 

Most often, people seek out a support group at the suggestion of a trusted friend, professional contact or family member. Joining a grief support group requires trust and a leap of faith during a time of great uncertainty and suffering. As you are likely aware, the holiday season is a particularly challenging time for the bereaved. 

While the groups are sponsored by the following churches, welcoming a few people in each group from other parishes has given rise to remarkable small church communities within neighboring parishes.
